The spacious taproom, spanning approximately 2,000 square feet, offers an inviting ambiance and an outdoor beer garden for patrons to relish Miami’s year-round sunshine. While the building stands as two stories, the taproom primarily occupies a single usable story, boasting a captivating and colorful design envisioned by the renowned artist David ‘Lebo’ LeBatard. Additionally, it offers a wide array of branded South Beach Lebo merchandise for sale, allowing guests to purchase and represent the brewery.

Goes by his artist name, LeBo is celebrated for his pioneering ‘post-modern cartoon expressionism,’ which has left an indelible mark on the taproom’s decor. His distinctive style, characterized by vivid colors, emotive compositions, and cartoon imagery, infuses every inch of the space, from the walls with vibrant murals to the meticulously designed branding elements such as the logo, taps, labels, and cans.

Speaking about the taproom’s design, the owner, Lorenzo Borghese, expressed enthusiasm for Lebo’s contribution, stating, "Lebo is our branding guru. His art infused our space with life, emotion, and layers of meaning, perfectly aligning with our vision for South Beach Brewing Company."

Patrons can immerse themselves in Miami’s past through two captivating dioramas within the bar, depicting Ocean Drive in the 1950s and Fisher Island during prohibition, offering a nostalgic journey through the city’s history.

The taproom will feature an extensive selection of craft beers, including the award-winning Blood Orange Sunset Hazy IPA. It is recognized among Forbes’ top ten summer fruit beers for its natural fruit juice infusion. Additionally, the lineup includes innovative "Brunch Beers" like the Strawberry Orange Mimosa and South Peach Bellini, both gluten-free and crafted with fresh fruit juice and electrolytes. Beginning in August 2019, the South Beach Brewing Company has focused on expanding its footprint beyond its taproom presence. The brand’s beers are distributed throughout Florida, gracing the shelves and menus of various restaurants, bars, hotels, and select grocery and liquor stores, amplifying its reach and impact and making them a staple.

The genesis of South Beach Brewing Company was serendipitous, originating from Borghese’s appearance on the TV show Lucky Bastards, which propelled his passion for exceptional craft beer. Notably, Borghese boasts a diverse lineage tied to historical figures like Pope Paul V, and is recognized for family contributions to art, religion, and cosmetics, epitomized by the Borghese lineage.

Beyond beer, Borghese is renowned for co-founding Animal Aid USA in 2012, a testament to his passion for animal welfare, having saved over 40,000 dogs since its inception. As well as being The Bachelor in 2006.
