Smuttynose Gets $20K Break On Sewer Fees

Town selectmen decided to reduce the sewer fee charged to Smuttynose Brewing for their new Towle Farm Road facility. Details from Seacoast:
While some on the board were in favor of waiving the entire fee, others were not. A compromise was reached through consensus to direct the town manager and public works director to charge the company similar to what it would charge a residential project of similar size.
The new figure that will be billed to the company is $4,085, a $20,915 difference.
