Sixpoint – Hi-Res IIIPA Returns In 12-oz Canned 4-Packs

Brooklyn-based Sixpoint Brewery today announced the re-release of the "HI-RES" — this year’s iteration with an improved formulation based upon the subsequent year’s worth of gathering feedback from customers, process improvements at the brewery, ingredient selection, and a daily regiment of downing several glasses of hop juice for breakfast.
"Working with raw, juicy, nasty, and intense flavors has been part of our DNA since 2004" said Shane Welch, President of Sixpoint Brewery. "Fans loved our inaugural canned release of Hi-Res last year, but we wanted to improve the experience even more for them this year. After an entire year of feedback, we are stoked to be bringing back the sauce in 2015!"
This year’s iteration will include a packaging format that is synchronized with Sixpoint’s packaging update from May 2014. On the formulation side, a less boozy formulation and greater variety of hops included for this year’s beer produces a more dynamic, juicier, and diverse hop elixir. Fabian Beller, Sixpoint brewer, shared the enthusiasm about this year’s release. "Citrusy. Piney. Just awesome."
HI-RES is named after "high-resolution" graphics, a symbolic reference to the zooming in on the lupulin gland to better understand the internal anatomy and flavor components of hops. Sixpoint first began this narrative in January 2012 with their release of the Resin, which explored the internal anatomy of hops and their impact on beer.
