Shannon Brewing & Andrews Distributing Partner In North Texas

February 22, 2016, Dallas, TX – The Andrews Distributing team is excited to announce a partnership with

Shannon Brewing Co. of Keller, Texas.

Shannon Brewing was founded in 2014 by Shannon Carter. The brewery specializes in fire-brewed Irish ales

rich with Irish family heritage. Carter’s great-grandfather was a brewer in Ireland, & Carter worked to

create a brewing system based on his great-grandfather’s process that has been engineered and built into

the brewhouse they use today. Carter first brewed their Irish Red using the unique process. Today, the

Shannon team produces a full portfolio of fire-brewed beers using all-natural ingredients and the purest

water possible.

The brewery has won multiple awards in their short history, including a silver medal for Shannon Irish Red at

the 2015 Commonwealth Cup, gold medals for Shannon Chocolate Stout at the 2015 U.S. Open Beer

Championship and 2016 Best of Craft Beer Awards, and a silver medal for Shannon IPA at the 2016 Best of

Craft Beer Awards.

Shannon Carter, brewery founder, said the entire Shannon team takes pride in creating unique, all-natural

beer, & looks forward to the new partnership with Andrews to share their products with more North Texas

beer lovers.

“We start our process with pure spring water from Samantha Springs in Keller, followed by the use of only

non-GMO, two-row malted barley & whole flower hops,” Carter said. “Our fire-brewed process produces a

caramelization in our sugars that cannot be reproduced on other systems. Our beer is unfiltered,

unpasteurized and awesome! The Andrews team took the time to get to know Shannon Brewing Company

and our beers. We know their team is truly invested in our brand, and we are thrilled to begin this

partnership.”

Andrews plans to launch the Shannon draft portfolio within their North Texas territory, excluding Denton

County, Feb. 29, 2016, followed by a launch of package distribution April 4, 2016.
