Samuel Adams Releasing Big Hapi DIPA To Benefit David Ortiz Children’s Fund

Only 541 bottles will be available – one for each homerun Big Papi crushed out of the park throughout his 19 year career. Big Hapi will be available exclusively at the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery, and all proceeds from the sale of the beer with go to The David Ortiz Children’s Fund.

About the Beer: Big Hapi is a double IPA made with more than 5 pounds of hops per barrel and dry-hopped with five American hop varieties from the Pacific Northwest.  Infused with mango juice from the, this brew boasts strong citrus and tropical notes, a piney backbone and resinous flavor.

WHAT:           One-day-only sampling and sale of “Big Hapi”, a hop forward double IPA brewed with mango juice to commemorate Big Papi’s final season.  541 bottles (Papi’s career homerun number) will be available for $29.99 exclusively at the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery on Friday November 4^th only.
