Red Hare Brewing Celebrates 6th Anniversary

Marietta, GA – Red Hare Brewery, which has become a leader in the Georgia craft beer industry, will celebrate six years of success on August 26^th, 2017 with an Anniversary Party at the brewery.

Founded by Roger Davis and Bobby Thomas, Red Hare Brewing Company broke new ground in August of 2011, becoming the first craft brewery in Marietta, Georgia. Over the years, Red Hare has released some of the most popular beers in the Southeast, including the piney Gangway IPA and citrusy SPF 50/50. Davis and Thomas continue to grow the brewery, as they prepare to open a second location in Shallotte, North Carolina.  The new brewery will feature small batches of barrel-aged and wild yeast experimental beers.

“We continue to challenge and break our own records, and it’s been beyond thrilling to grow the brand throughout the Southeast,” says Davis. “The new addition in Shallotte will add a new dimension to Red Hare as we start to introduce some one-of-a-kind beers. You can be sure that we’ll be having a lot of fun creating some new wild & funky brews!” says Thomas.

To celebrate six years of success, Red Hare will host an Anniversary Party at the brewery (1998 Delk Industrial Blvd. Marietta, Georgia 30067) on August 26, 2017 from 2:00- 6:00 pm. The party will feature many different beers on tap, including some fan favorites such as Watership Brown and Chocolate Porter. The brewery will also introduce a very limited Rabbit’s Reserve of the Funky Whabbit Wheat that has been aged in French Chardonnay barrels. The party will feature live music from Migrant Worker, and have a selection of food from Carne 250, Tempted Palate, and Patty Wagon, along with a variety of vendors.
