Otter Creek Brewing’s Mike Gerhart meditates on our latest spring seasonal release–Citra Mantra. An India Pils Lager, Citra Mantra features the presence of the Citra hop which is elevated by a clean fermenting lager yeast that allows the subtle Pilsner, Munich and Vienna malts to lay a crisp, bready foundation. The citrus and tropical fruit character of the Citra hop comes from kettle addition followed by a huge of ’em again in the fermenter.
At 55 IBUs and 5.75% ABV, this is one that’s sure to enlighten your tastebuds.
