Otter Creek Backseat Berner & Over Easy Go Year-Round

What a long strange trip it’s been. In more than 20 years of steady trucking, we’ve circled the globe with our World Tour series and hopped on the bus with Brewmaster Mike’s seasonal treats.

Now, as we embark on the next leg of our cosmic voyage in craft brewing, we’re excited to announce two additions to our year-round lineup.

The first year-round IPA in Otter Creek history, Backseat Berner is an American beauty that’s loaded with juicy hops. Like Oslo, the Bernese mountain dog that adorns the label, Backseat Berner is your everyday companion for life’s adventures. This juicy exploration of American hops clocks in at 7% ABV with 68 IBUs.

In addition, Mike and his gang have cooked-up a brand new Session Ale. Straight from our stash to your glass, Over Easy is a highly crushable, hop-soaked brew that, at 4.6% ABV, won’t exhaust your palate.

We’re letting our freak flags fly with brand new packaging that reflects the free-spirited nature of the collective personalities that drive our passion—drawing inspiration from some new friends, Clementine and Oslo, the bus and Berner that bedeck our labels, respectively.

Not to be outdone, we updated our logo with a fresh design that pays homage to our past while paving the way for the hop-infused journey ahead. Our rebrand shifts into full gear as we begin to ship kegs to select markets. Keep your eyes peeled for the VW bus gear-shift-inspired tap handle that we pulled from Mike’s bus, Clementine.

You can expect to see Backseat Berner and Over Easy (along with Citra Mantra and Fresh Slice) in our Mixed Bag summer variety pack this March and on draught and in packaging at the end of the month. Cheers!
