Ommegang / Boulevard – Spiced Saison Coming To Bottles

We brought you a peek at the Boulevard Brewing / Ommegang co-brew “Collaboration 4” produced as part of the Boulevard Smokestack Series.  Today I’m excited to bring you the Ommegang version coming from these two Duvel-owned breweries.  This is Spiced Saison it it was co-brewed by our pal Phil Leinhart from Ommegang and Steven Pauwels from Boulevard.  Two batches of this beer were brewed and each was fermented with the unique house yeast strains of  each brewery and at post-fermentation the two batches were blended to allow both distinctive yeast signatures to “shine through.”  This beer will be packaged in 750ml bottles and it comes in at 7.3% ABV.
