New Belgium Announces Nov & Dec Seasonal Releases

Frambozen:

Market Release Date:  11/17/22

Beer Details: Raspberry Brown Ale

ABV:  7%

Storytelling:  New Belgium welcomes the Holidays each year with the release of Frambozen, a brown ale fermented with raspberries. Flemish for “raspberry,” Frambozen has been a cult favorite for many years.  This raspberry brown ale has a medium body at 7%  with aromas of raspberry, cherry pie, and baker’s chocolate. Dark ruby color in the glass, this ale has a balanced palate with notes of vanilla, herbs, and fresh raspberries. Overhead in the brewhouse: “Drinking Frambozen is like stomping on the gas of a vintage El Camino. It’s a delightful, powerful beer with a style and class all its own.”

Brewed: at New Belgium Brewing’s Denver Pilot Brewery in Denver, Colorado

Available for purchase:  Select retailers in Fort Collins, Colorado, via Cellar Club Pick up, and New Belgium’s Liquid Center’s in Fort Collins, CO and Asheville, North Carolina

Le Terroir:

Market Release Date:  11/17/22

Beer Details: Fresh, fresh batch of Le Terroir is here, dry-hopped with Amarillo & whole cone Idaho 7

ABV:  6%

Storytelling:  Le Terroir is a French term meaning ‘of the earth’ and is frequently used to reference the natural, environmental conditions that affect beer.  So it is with our Wood Cellar and the foeders in which Le Terroir is created.  These oak barrels combine nature and craftsmanship to age our sour beer in varying temperatures, humidity, and vibrations.  Couple with dry-hopping using fruit forward and experimental hops, Le Terroir is a beer that rewards differently every time you experience it.

Aged and Blended: at New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins

Available for purchase:  Cellar Club Pick up, and New Belgium’s Liquid Center’s in Fort Collins, CO and Asheville, North Carolina

Royal Lavender Sour Saison:

Market Release Date:  12.16.22

Beer Details: Blended Barrel-Aged Farmhouse Ale with Royal Velvet Lavender

ABV:  7.2%

Storytelling:  If the holiday season doesn’t beckon Saison wishes, then think again. Le Saison translates to Season. And while their origins are thought to be brewed in Winter to be enjoyed in the Summer, modern Saisons embrace the versatile landscape of the style and the creative nature of the brewer. On the western sloped of Colorado, a lovely lavender varietal, Royal Velvet is grown. The fragrance has a honied floral, herbal signature that dovetails perfectly with the peppery, citrus Saison. With the best wishes of the brewery to you.

Brewed: at New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins

Available for purchase:  Cellar Club Pick up, and New Belgium’s Liquid Center’s in Fort Collins, CO and Asheville, North Carolina

Phantastically Hazy IPA

Market Release Date:  12/ 8/22

Beer Details: Hazy IPA with Whole Cone Sabro Cryo and Phantasm

ABV:  7.5%

Storytelling:  Incredibly rich in Thiols, Phantasm powder is an extraction made from Marlborough sauvignon grapes, and when added correctly in the brewing process, it can unlock intense levels of tropical hop aroma character.

Brewed: at New Belgium Brewing’s Denver Pilot Brewery in Denver, Colorado

Available for purchase:  Cellar Club Pick up, and New Belgium’s Liquid Center’s in Fort Collins, CO and Asheville, North Carolina
