Mustang Brewing Renames Route 66 To Mustang Sixty-Six In Trademark Dispute – Saddlebag Series Dragon’s Breath IPA Coming

Interesting news coming from Mustang Brewing:

As you look on the shelves over the next couple of months, you may notice something a bit different about some of your favorite brews. We’ve undergone a bit of a branding refresh. While most changes were minor, one of our best selling brews now has a new name. After a cease and desist letter and subsequent legal fees [long story], Route 66 will now be known as Mustang Sixty-Six. Same great flavor with a sexy new look. We love this beer! So much so, we plan to release it in cans in the fall.

Saddlebag Series:  Dragon’s Breath IPA – our newest addition to the SaddleBag Series – was recently released to the public in Oklahoma to great reviews. This Belgian IPA is infused with jalapeno and Serrano peppers for just the right touch of malty sweetness and spice.
