We’ve got a beer lineup of epic proportions in this month’s online special release sale, including a barrel-aged juggernaut of an imperial stout, a baller-status hazy DIPA, and a breathtaking ensemble of fruited funk. NORTHWEST KINGDOM
The utterly delightful beverage now before you is a liquid commemoration of our well-documented love of the Pacific Northwest. A delicious funky saison brewed with malt from Oregon’s gorgeous high desert as well as Oregon-grown Sterling hops, it was fermented with a blend of house microflora, aged in red wine barrels, and conditioned on marionberries from–you guessed it–Oregon. The end result is breathtaking amalgamation of complex funk and delectable berry flavor & aroma that’s a fitting tribute to one of our favorite North American destinations.

ONE MILLION TOMORROWS WITH RASPBERRIES & BLUEBERRIES
This phenomenally tasty beer is the progeny of a wine barrel-aged saison and a bevy of second-use fruit. The fresh saison was loaded with raspberries and blueberries and fermented with our resident bugs in red wine barrels, resulting in a stunningly beautiful beer that boasts Brett-tastic notes of hay and pepper, a bright, healthy acidity, and a deep-yet-delicate fruity character. It’s a sensory smorgasbord of radness that might just restore your faith in sequels.

PESCESPADA
This absurdly tasty collaboration with the excellent folks at Almanac was created as an homage to the decadent tiki drinks the Bay Area cocktail scene is famous for. Brewed with oats and the incredibly tropical HBC 462 hop variety, we fermented with Brett strains from both breweries and conditioned on on heaps of ripe, juicy pineapple, mango, & coconut for an deeply quenching, explosively tropical profile that’s like an leisurely equatorial vacation for your taste buds.

ELF QUARTERS
This exceptionally tasty collaboration with Fair State Brewing Cooperative is a funky wit brewed with a classic wit yeast alongside Brett & Lacto, and conditioned on a mountain of ripe, local kumquats. The resulting beer is both complex and massively refreshing, with plenty of tart, funky radness beneath a bright, fruity profile bursting with kumquats and tropical magic.

IMPORTANT NOTES

With Los Angeles and Portland opening up as alternate beer pickup spots, be sure to note that deadlines are location specific, so plan accordingly.

Regarding the canned special release Lightning Calculator DIPA:

• While the rest of the sale has the standard 2-month pick-up window (ending 3/21/2018 for San Diego & Los Angeles, 3/27/2018 for Portland), the pick-up window for Lightning Calculator is 30 days only. That means that the last day to pick these up is on 2/23/2018 for San Diego & Los Angeles, and 3/1/2018 for Portland. No exceptions.

We’ll be hosting a release party at the Fermentorium on Wednesday, January 24th. We’ll have a bunch of special beers on tap, and with the anticipated attendance of several species of party-animal, Lomaland will be the place to be.
