Sunday’s online sale features an absolutely stellar beer lineup. We’re extremely excited for you to taste these beasts. We’ve got two breathtaking new special release cans, two variants of our delicious Batch 1500, and a strawberry/Meyer lemon barrel-aged grisette. I guess you could say it’s pretty serious.

To make the whole thing even radder, this sale will debut our new online beer sale platform, allowing us to move away from BPT and eliminate all of the extra fees associated with it. Being that this is our first time holding a sale on this newly developed website, your feedback will be extremely welcome. Born of a collaboration with Casita Cerveceria, this mythical flavor beast is part imperial stout, part churro, and all magic. We layered this beer’s rich, chocolaty profile with cinnamon, cacao nibs, salt, & vanilla, opening an astoundingly tasty 13% ABV portal into a new dimension of soul-stirring decadence.

BATCH 1500 (750ml Bottles)
The glorious ambrosia now before you is our 1500th batch of beer, hence the clever name. To celebrate this exciting brewhouse milemarker, we’ve crafted an exceptionally tasty dark saison, meticulously dosed with dark candi sugar before fermentation in red wine barrels with Lomaland yeast, Lactobacillus, and four strains of Brettanomyces. The resulting beer is a masterful amalgamation of tart, oak-laden dark fruit and farmhouse funk that is an absolute joy to behold. You are in for a treat, my friend.

We added a generous helping of black currants to this lot of Batch 1500, which combine with the existing notes of dark fruit, oak, and funky complexity to create a truly stunning ensemble.

TRANSIT OF VENUS AGED IN RED WINE BARRELS WITH MEYER LEMON & STRAWBERRY (750ml Bottles)
We aged this batch in red wine barrels and added liberal doses of strawberries & Meyer lemons, which combine with existing rustic, funky profile to create a beer that’s both outrageously tasty and incredibly refreshing. It’s basically strawberry lemonade for your soul.

Important notes regarding the canned special release Perfect Talon IPA:

• While the rest of the sale has the standard 2-month pick-up window (ending 11/15/2017), the pick-up window for Perfect Talon IPA is 30 days only. That means that the last day to pick these up is on 10/20/2017. No exceptions.

IF YOU WANT A SNEAK PEEK AT SUNDAY’S RADNESS, you need look no further than the Fermentorium. Dragon Mask, our staggeringly delicious collaboration with Casita Cerveceria (detailed above) is now pouring at our Point Loma tasting room. We’ve got a limited quantity of low-fills from the canning run, and we’re pouring them at the bar until they’re gone. They are tasting seriously fantastic, and we would highly advise getting some in your face if at all possible.

THE DANKENING MARCHES ON. We have been throwing down some serious hop-sorcery at beer spots all over our distribution areas this month, and there are still a ton of events yet to come.
