Part 2 of December’s special release presale goes LIVE Saturday at 10AM

We’re closing out the year with a torrent of liquid radness. Part 2 of December’s special release presale includes exquisite collabs, delicious new takes on old favorites, IPA magic (like our first-ever IPA 6-pack & a black IPA), and caffeinated wonderment. Festivities may look a little bit different this year, but whether your plans for the remainder of 2020 involve simply curling up by the fire with something tasty to sip on, or you have a full zoom dinner itinerary, we’ve got you covered.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Pickups fall on a holiday week, so be sure to note the adjusted hours for each location. ALL LOCATIONS ARE CLOSED CHRISTMAS DAY (FRIDAY 12/25). This means if you’re normally able scoop your stuff Friday, your first day to pickup will be Saturday 12/26.
Oh, and in case you missed it, we have an awesome
new reservation system, in which rezzos are recommended (you’ll get pick-up priority, if you have one), but not required. If you’re interested in skipping the walk-up line, you can snag one the reservations page AFTER you’ve made your purchases.
If you need some more info before making your selections, feel free to proceed:

CENTRAL FINITE CURVE (COLLAB W/ BOTTLE LOGIC)
This impossibly delicious imperial stout is the result of our collaborative efforts with the fine humans of Bottle Logic. For this liquid candy bar, we carefully curated the flavor guestlist, adding gobs of roasted peanuts, coconut, and cocoa nibs. The resulting beverage is a full-bodied and positively exploding with all manners of dessert madness. If you were going to find a golden ticket in a beer, it would be this one.
ABV: 11.5%
Format: 12oz Can
Price: $9.75
Total Quantity: 7,266
Can Limit: 6

WOLFDREAM
This supremely easy-drinking IPA began with a malt bill of  2 Row, white wheat, malted oats, and a smattering of Golden Naked Oats. We then loaded it with a classic hop combo of Citra, Centennial, Motueka, & Simcoe hops, making for an ultra-refreshing, mega-crushable hazy IPA that will have you wondering if it would be socially acceptable to start subbing it for your regular morning OJ.
ABV: 6.2%
Format: 6-Pack of 12oz Cans
Price: $15
Total Quantity: 1,527
Pack Limit: 6

NEVERWHERE DRY-HOPPED W/ NELSON
Our beloved Brett IPA, Neverwhere (if you’re ready for a blast from the past, we’d recommend reading our blog post on Neverwhere by Mike Tonsmeire from 2013) has triumphantly stepped back on the scene. For this iteration, we’ve lavished this already super-tropical liquid miracle with 2020 Nelson hops. It’s a pineapple bomb loaded with white wine notes and a subtle spiciness from the Nelson, and it’s going to knock your socks right onto your ass.
ABV: 7%
Format: 4-Pack of 16oz Cans
Price: $19.50
Total Quantity: 1,193
Pack Limit: 6

DOOM BLADE
*Cue dramatic music*…We made a Black IPA, and it’s really, really good. This slightly roasted cascadian dark ale is jam packed with hops: Chinook, Cascade, & Simcoe in the boil, Citra & Cascade in the whirlpool, PLUS Citra, Simcoe, & Galaxy in the dry-hop. Yeah, woah. The resulting beverage is wonderfully (obviously) hop-forward & classically bitter (boasting 75 IBUs), with delightfully roasty notes of toffee & caramel. It’s an ideal fireside companion for all the impending cozy nights in.
ABV: 6.66%
Format: 4-Pack of 16oz Cans
Price: $17.25
Total Quantity: 1,193
Pack Limit: 6

FORGOTTEN LANDSCAPES AGED IN MADEIRA BARRELS W/ BLACK SPLENDOR PLUMS (COLLAB W/ BURIAL)
Brewed with a mix of CA, OR, and NC craft malts, this collab with our friends at Burial Brewing was fermented with mixed cultures, Juice yeast, and Burial house yeast, aged in Madeira barrels for a whopping two years, and then racked onto 1200 lbs of Black Splendor plums from Sunny Cal Farms. Deep, complex funk meets an abundance of stone fruit radness, all underscored by beautiful notes of oak that really take the whole thing to a seriously stellar level. Ready your flavor portal for an experience in liquid elegance.
ABV: 6.7%
Format: 375ml Bottle
Price: $16.25
Total Quantity: 876
Bottle Limit: 2

RAD LAB! SERIES: SPICE CONDITIONED PERU SOL & CAFE COFFEE BEANS
The latest installment of our Rad Lab! coffee series is here, and it is poised to escalate even the most isolated of holiday activities to dizzying heights of pleasure. We started this unique beast with washed-process Peru Sol & Café coffee beans, which were then conditioned by our coffee ninjas with cinnamon sticks and cardamom. The result is a cup with beautiful notes of coffee cake, cardamom, and deep plum that couldn’t be more ideal for a cold morning. Or any temperature at any time of the day, really.
Format: 8oz
Price: $20
Total Quantity: 190

BLACK HOUSE COLD BREW BOX
** These must be kept cold and consumed within 1 month **
The same Black House Blend cold brew you know and love, in a bag, in a box! For the uninitiated, Black House coffee blend is a mix of a Natural Ethiopia (fruit, berries, brightness) and Papua New Guinea (cocoa, caramel, earth). This mocha java-style blend is the same coffee we use in Black House, our year-round oatmeal coffee stout. Pouring yourself a glass of world-class cold brew has never been so convenient.
Format: 3L Boxed Bag
Price: $28
Total Quantity: 192

Important notes regarding this month’s sale:

  • For the safety of all involved, you must wear a mask during pick-up. This is mandatory.
  • These items have a 30-day pickup window across the board ending on 1/25/21. Yep, everything. 30 days only.
  • The first day to pick-up will be 12/23 in San Diego / Los Angeles / Anaheim and 12/26 in Oakland / Portland / Encinitas / Santa Barbara.

THE PRESALE
WILL BE ON THIS PAGE.

Friendly reminder #1: You can still totally TIP FURLOUGHED STAFF. While changing state-mandates in California have enabled us to recall some of our employee-owners, it’s not everyone, and as we re-enter the purple tier, we can use all the help we can get. The online tip item is still totally a thing, and 100% of the tips collected will be evenly split among our furloughed staff. We’ve been blown away by everyone’s generosity thus far, and are supremely grateful for any and all contributions.
Friendly reminder #2: You can also still totally
DONATE COLD BREW to frontline nurses because they are are straight-up heroes who are our first line of defense in this pandemic. We’ll deliver them every week to nurses who have selflessly volunteered to work at COVID-19 command centers in our areas. Now, more than ever, they need our support and encouragement, and this is our way of showing our deep appreciation for their difficult work and incredible compassion.

We thank you again—and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future—for your patience, support, and feedback during these immensely challenging months. We cannot possibly overstate how grateful we are to be surrounded by such a truly excellent community. Hang in there, friends.

Cheers & thanks!
