Lakewood Brewing Company Releases Raspberry Temptress in 4-packs

“We’re very excited to introduce our Seduction Series in 4-packs starting with Raspberry Temptress,” said Wim Bens, Founder and President of Lakewood Brewing Company. “We recognized that our previous package size in 22oz bottles might have been a bit of a ‘commitment’ for some, especially with a 9% beer. That’s why we decided to make the same great beer but offer it in a more manageable, single serve size. Plus, it makes it much easier to spread the love.”

Raspberry Temptress possesses all the complexity and decadence of The Temptress with a silky mouthfeel and rich, malty hints of dark chocolate and caramel. Notes of raspberries are revealed, adding a tart touch to the sweetness of this 9.1% ABV imperial milk stout.

The touch of Oregon raspberries transforms this tasty brew into a luscious, Valentine’s Day libation. What’s not to love? Raspberry Temptress pairs well with Chocolate Soufflé, Fresh Berries, Cupid’s Arrow. You can stock up on 4-packs, now available in locations across DFW.

UPDATE 17 Feb 2017:

Dallas, TX: Lakewood Brewing Company introduces Barrel-aged Raspberry Temptress, the first of rare, barrel-aged versions of their popular Seduction Series releases.

“We’re excited to finally release these highly-limited beers, starting with Barrel-aged Raspberry Temptress,” said Wim Bens, President & Founder of Lakewood Brewing Company. “For this release, we used bourbon barrels from Breckenridge Distilling. It’s everything you love about BBT with a big burst of raspberry flavor and aroma.”

LBC chose bourbon barrels for this first release after experimenting with the blend a couple of years ago. “It was another experiment that we decided to try on a whim, and it was such a hit with our fans that we decided to launch the barrel-aged versions beginning with Raspberry Temptress,” said Bens.

Fans can expect to see a variety of barrels used for upcoming releases as well. “We’re constantly trying to push ourselves creatively,” said Bens. “Each of our Seduction Series’ releases have their own unique personality, so we’re interested to see how different spirits and barrels can add to that mystique.”

BA Raspberry Temptress can be found in limited quantities on draft only at select locations starting at the end of February. Wim emphasizes, “We are only releasing a handful of kegs of each release to the entire market. Get it while you can!”
