Jester King RU-55 Barrel-Aged Sour Red

Here’s a great looking new brew coming from Jester King called RU-55 Barrel-Aged Sour Red.  The RU-55 name seems to be a poke at the “Multinational corporations” that have taken over the “farms of west Flanders” and have replaced farmers with “shiny new electronic robots.”  RU-55 will be packaged in 750ml bottles and come in at 7.3% ABV using wild yeast & souring bacteria.  RU-55 is aged in oak barrels and uses Munich, 2-row & pilsner malt as well as come non-organic carared, crystal  & melanoidin malts.  RU-55 is hopped with EKG, Czech Saaz and is a tribute to “our good friend Russ Beattie.”  Unfiltered, unpasteurized and bottle-conditioned….can’t wait to try this one.
