Introducing The Penn Brew U Master’s Degree Program: Advanced Level Program for Serious Craft Beer Fans

Big news from Penn Brewery!  We’re rolling out an exciting program for experienced craft beer aficionados: Penn Brew U – Master’s Degree Level! If you know the basics of craft brews but want to explore more advanced topics, this event’s for you.  Penn Brew U Master’s Level is a hands-on program that takes a deep dive into the production, quality control, and tasting nuances of craft.  Among other topics, you’ll learn about:

The grain bill – grain/beer pairing

Advanced beer & food pairing

 
Off-flavor sensory analysis – how to identify the cause of foul-tasting beer

Barrel aging demo and tasting

Time & temperature, and how they affect beer

The course is led by Penn’s team of brewers.

Join us for Penn Brew U – Master’s Degree Level on Saturday, March 11^th from 11am to 2pm.  Tickets are $65 and include a Penn Brewery hat and an upscale beer-themed lunch:

Carbonade of Beer (beef braised in Penn St. Nick Bock, Penn Dark, and caramelized onions)
