Human Robot Oktoberfest: USA vs the World on 9/21

I am very excited to share the details for the upcoming Human Robot Oktoberfest: USA vs the World coming up on September 21st from 12pm to 5:30pm. This kooky, fun fall event features special beers from Germany that are otherwise not available in the city, competing with their USA lager brewery compatriots. DATE & TIME: Saturday, September 21st from 12pm to 5:30pm

LOCATION: 1700 Block of Germantown Avenue

AUDIENCE: Lovers of lagers both national and international, a traditionally untraditional Oktoberfest!

Philadelphia, PA- Human Robot is stoked to be celebrating all things lager in a special USA vs. The World: An Oktoberfest Celebration. Taking place on the 1700 block of Germantown Ave from 12pm to 5:30pm, the premium purveyors of lagers will include an invite-only list of breweries from the Philadelphia area and beyond, pitted against their German ancestors.

Enjoy an afternoon of live music and entertainment from Polkadelphia (polka cover band extraordinaire), a lively DJ set from The Touched, and more live entertainment throughout the day. The food options will include local favorite food trucks and vendors Herman’s at the Haus serving traditional German fare, Bake Bake Philly with German sweets and pretzels, and more. Come party with us and take part in special Oktoberfest games such as stein hoisting, a yodeling contest, and The World’s Fourth Ever Milk Tube Race! The event is outdoors, rain or shine, and 21 and over to drink.

• 12:00 PM: Festival Begins

• 12:15PM: Long Dog Beauty Pageant (free to enter your pup)

• 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM: Polkadelphia

• 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM: Stein hoisting competition (BYOB your own Liter Mug)

• 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM: Yodeling contest

• 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM: Live Music

• 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM: DJ set from The Touched

• 4:00 PM to 4:10 PM: Chicken Dance off

• 4:10 PM to 4:15 PM: Gather Teams

• 4:20 PM to 5:00 PM: Milk Tube Race Kicks Off

• 5:00 PM to 5:15 PM: Final Round: for the Championship

• 5:30pm: Festival ends and taps off
