Hopworks Urban Brewery Releasing Mt. Angel Volksbier

Here comes another fall beer coming from Hopworks Urban Brewery in Portland, OR:
Mt. Angel Volksbier is a collaboration with the organizers of Mount Angel Oktoberfest. We made a beer to commemorate their fantastic event (Sept. 14-17) and we’re releasing it early at our pubs so you can get a little sneak peek. It’s available on draft and in very limited bottles! Join us at our Powell brewpub on August 31, at 6pm to celebrate!
The beer brings together ingredients sourced from the Hallertau region of Germany and the foothills of Mount Angel in the Willamette Valley. Spicy, tropical and fruity aromas compliment honeydew and stone fruit flavors all derived from hops and traditional German Ale yeast. We’re calling it a Bavarian Session Ale!
If you come to the release party on August 31st and buy one of the very limited bottles, we’ll make sure you get $2 off your admission to the Biergarten to the Mount Angel Oktoberfest.
