Gigantic + Ruse Collaborate On Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

It’s always a beautiful day in our neighborhood, especially when we have exciting news to share with you! We’ve recently had the pleasure of collaborating with our neighbors at Ruse Brewing to create something truly special, a brew that’s as comforting as slipping into your favorite cardigan.
Introducing "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood IPA" – a brew crafted with the spirit of community and the flavors of the Pacific Northwest. We joined forces with Ruse Brewing to bring you a quintessential NW IPA that we’re incredibly proud of.
We started with a base of Northwest Pale and Munich malts, then layered in the classic and still great citrusy Cascade hop, paired with the newly released Comet hop, and elevated the experience even further with Oregon-grown Chinook hops. All this leads to an IPA loaded with citrusy notes of grapefruit, sweet orange, and a hint of pine, all backed by a beautiful malt profile.
We believe it’s a brew that truly embodies the sense of camaraderie and community that defines our neighborhood, and we’d be thrilled to share it with you. Let’s raise a glass together!

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood IPA is available in cans and on tap for a limited time at grocers, beer shops, bars and bodegas throughout Oregon, as well as at the our three taproom locations: The Brewery Taproom (5224 SE 26th Ave), Hawthorne Pub (4343 SE Hawthorne), and Robot Room (6935 NE Glisan St).

Beautiful Day can art designer Mandy Grotie is an award-winning visual artist living in Portland, Oregon. She likes it when art catches her eye for its funky form and bright colors. It gives her a sense of relief from everyday life, almost pausing her in the present. She digs working with bright colors to embed positivity into her art and believes that this can have an effect through an awakening of the visual senses. Her work is funky, weird, and full of love.
