Founders Más Agave Clásica Grapefruit & Lime Returning To 2022 Barrel Aged Series In May

This morning I have some fruit favorites returning to the 2022 Barrel Aged Series from Founders Brewing in Grand Rapids, MI. Más Agave Clásica Grapefruit will be an imperial gose-style ale brewed with agave nectar and sea salt that is aged in Tequila barrels with added grapefruit (9.7%-AbV) & Más Agave Clásica Lime will be an imperial gose-style ale brewed with agave nectar and sea salt that is aged in Tequila barrels with added lime (10%-AbV). These are both 12oz bottles and stay tuned for 2022 release details.

Más Agave Clásica Lime & Grapefruit

We love cocktails. Like, really love them. If you ask us, few are more refreshing than the tart and tangy margarita and this barrel-aged beer pays tribute to that perennial classic. We took an imperial gose brewed with agave nectar, lime and sea salt and then aged it in tequila barrels. Consider it a party in a bottle. ¡Más Agave Clásica Lime! 10.0% ABV.

The cocktail inspiration lives on. Our imperial gose is brewed with agave nectar and sea salt before being aged in tequila barrels. But it doesn’t end there. Once it’s pulled from the barrels, it gets a dose of grapefruit juice to ramp up the tanginess. Sweet, salty, and mouth-puckeringly delicious. ¡Más Agave Clásica Grapefruit! 9.7% ABV.
