This is Öl 5th Anniversary Ale from Draai Laag Brewing.  Named for the Norwegian name for “beer",” this dark Abbey-style ale is brewed with caramel malts and fermented with Indigenous yeast strains.  If that’s not enough, Öl was aged in Laphroaig Scotch casks, Bourbon casks and 27-year old Rum casks AND bottle conditioned with maple syrup.  In the end, the beer will hit 10.5%-AbV and it will see packaging in 500ml bottles.  Stay tuned for release details and happy early 5th Anniversary to Draai Laag.  We also have Atomic Pomme ale brewed with apples (9.1%-AbV), Vlad Ale (14.2%-AbV), Wild Hazy Dry-Hopped Prototype 6W  (6.3%-AbV), Grimace ale brewed with black currants (9.5%-AbV), Hazy Dry-Hopped Prototype 6C (6.3%-AbV), Beetbarb ale with beets and rhubarb (6.5%-AbV), Gocean black gose-style ale brewed with oysters, fermented with sea kelp/caviar (4.4%-AbV), Razmata ale fermented with red raspberries (6.4%-AbV), Vetala ale made with peach juice (10.4%-AbV), Pomegrande ale with pomegranate juice (9.4%-AbV), O.D.B.
