MILTON, Delaware (Feb. 11, 2026) – For the fifth consecutive year, Dogfish Head and 302 Horseshoe Crab will host Delaware’s official 302 Day celebration. An annual celebration of all things Delaware, this year’s event is slated for Saturday, March 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Dogfish Head’s Milton Brewery. This free, open-to-the-public event will feature local eats and drinks, live music, raffles and giveaways, and boatloads of 302 Horseshoe Crab merchandise. Not to mention, the 302 Horseshoe Crab team will be onsite with their annual sale and a series of new, limited-edition Dogfish Head x 302 Horseshoe Crab items. This year’s 302 Day celebration is sponsored by the Blood Bank of Delmarva.

THE OFFICIAL BEER OF THE OFFICIAL 302 DAY CELEBRATION – 302 LAGER:
Of course, 302 Day wouldn’t be complete without the annual release of Dogfish Head’s iconic, Delaware-centric beer, 302 Lager! Brewed in collaboration with 302 Horseshoe Crab, Dogfish Head’s 302 Lager is an American lager brewed with thoughtfully sourced two-row barley malt, heirloom variety corn and Sauvignon Blanc grape must. Bursting with bright aromas of honeysuckle, sweet grits, grapefruit and passion fruit, it is the pinnacle of Delaware pride.

Debuting on Monday, March 2 (3/02), 302 Lager will be available on draft and in 4pk/16oz cans at Dogfish Head’s Rehoboth brewpub, Brewings & Eats. The beer will also be available for onsite consumption, as well as to-go in 4pk/16oz cans, at the official 302 Day celebration, at Dogfish Head’s Milton brewery on Saturday, March 7. 302 Lager will be available only while supplies last.

“I love everything about the great state of Delaware – the history, the arts, the nature and of course, the beer and culinary scenes – and that’s why 302 Day is one of my favorite days of the year,” said Sam Calagione, Dogfish Head Founder & Brewer. “It’s a time to come together with partners and friends to celebrate the First State in all its glory, and I especially enjoy the annual opportunity to work alongside Keith and Karlin at 302 Horseshoe Crab to create a collaborative beer and sick merch items designed by Delawareans for Delawareans. I couldn’t be happier they brought Dogfish along in their off-centered journey, and I can’t believe it’s our fifth year hosting 302 Day at the Milton brewery.”

DELAWARE-WIDE PARTICIPATION – PARTNERS, PERFORMERS & VENDORS:
Pulling in partners and performers from throughout Delaware, this year’s 302 Day celebration will feature a host of entertainment, interactive stations and more. Here’s what to expect!
Brandywine Zoo will display models of a dogfish shark and horseshoe crab for folks to examine, interact with and learn from.
First State Heritage Park will bring the area’s history to life with historical games, reproductions of local artifacts and folks dressed in period clothing.
Homestead Blue Grass will take the stage from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the Nick Kashmanian Trio will host live band karaoke from 2-4 p.m.
CopyCatwill offer free facepainting services to event attendees.
Salt Town will be onsite with coastal candles and more.
Sincerely Clay will sell handcrafted clay jewelry and permanent jewelry.
Tall Oak Trading Company will offer artisan soaps and botanical body care products.
A lengthy lineup of local food trucks will offer tasty eats, including Uncle B’s Kitchen, Taco Reho, Grandpa Mac, Smash Mouth Burger, Changing Mains, MomMom’s Cheesecakes, Brûlé Bakery and more.
University of Delaware’s mascots will be onsite for photo opportunities and to act as a “spirit squad” during onsite live auction.
Delaware State Parks will host two interactive stations – a live horseshoe crab touch tank, and a disc golf pop-up featuring two disc golf baskets ready for action.

GIVING BACK – RAFFLE & LIVE AUCTION BENEFITTING DELAWARE STATE PARKS:
Delaware State Parks is this year’s 302 Day nonprofit beneficiary. 302 Horseshoe Crab will be hosting a raffle with prizes including a co-branded fire pit and corn hole set, as well as a decked-out Delaware State Parks kids power wheel surf jeep and a two-night stay in a cottage at Indian River Marina in Delaware’s Seashore State Park. Stick around until 1 p.m., for the announcement of the raffle prize winners, followed by the live auction of two black surf tags, #2022 and #1787. All proceeds from the raffle and live auction will benefit Delaware State Parks.

“It’s humbling to see how 302 Horseshoe Crab has grown since it began back in 2016,” said Keith Mosher, Co-Founder of 302 Horseshoe Crab. His wife, Karlin, adds, “What started as a side-hustle for us has now turned into 10 years of celebrating the 302! We love that the 302 Day celebration raffles and live auction benefit ALL the Delaware State Parks and that our partnership with Dogfish Head allows us to keep honoring Delaware in such a unique way.”

MAKE IT A WEEKEND – EXTEND THE 302 DAY CELEBRATION:
For Delawareans wanting to kick-off their 302 Day fun early, Dogfish Head and 302 Horseshoe Crab have you covered! On Friday, March 6, the day before the Official 302 Day celebration, Dogfish Head and 302 Horseshoe Crab invite guests to gather ‘round the fireside at the Dogfish INN in Lewes, for a lively chat about all things Delaware. Folks can expect engaging conversations, a special sampling of 302 Lager, and the chance to win some exciting prizes in a raffle hosted by 302 Horseshoe Crab and Delaware State Parks.

ABOUT 302 HORSESHOE CRAB:

The 302 Horseshoe Crab is a lifestyle brand honoring Delaware’s state marine animal and the shared connection of our single area code. What began in May of 2016 as a local film festival T-shirt, continues to focus on bringing artisan designs on the highest quality products, and in small batches, setting the brand apart from others. A commitment to enhancing their community and giving back to the people that have helped them grow continues to be a mission of the brand. This mission, along with the recognizability of the logo representing the First State, has led to collaborations with Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, Delaware State Parks, The Blood Bank of Delmarva, East Coast Garden Center, and the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation. The founders strive to bring lovers of the 302 Horseshoe Crab all the necessities. Whether it’s silkscreened by hand onto textiles such as hoodies, tees, and sweatpants, or etched onto drinkware and home goods, each product is carefully crafted for approachability, comfort, and love for the 302.
