Crazy Mountain Brewing Company’s prized chocolate lab, Doobie, is looking for a mate to make beautiful Labrador puppies with. The brewery is enlisting the help of the public to play matchmaker and find their big boy a fine lady – and the incentive is pretty motivating. If your female dog suggestion is chosen as Doobie’s mate, you will win free craft beer for an entire year! Whoever submits the suggestion is entered to win, you don’t even have to own the dog. She can be your neighbor or cousin’s dog, as long as you think she will be a great lover for Doobie.

Doobie, esteemed pet of Crazy Mountain’s CEO/Brewmaster Kevin Selvy, has been with the brewery since its inception in 2010. He has witnessed the tremendous growth of the brewery and is looking to grow a family of his own. “We want to continue his bloodline so our children’s children can have puppies from Doobie’s amazing lineage,” remarks Kevin Selvy. “Doobie’s dad is my father’s dog, so we know he comes from a great line of Labradors. We want this familial DNA to keep giving the world more lovable labs for people to hunt with, families to enjoy, and children to cuddle with."

Doobie is a 6-year-old purebred AKC certified English chocolate Labrador who has OFA elbow, eye, hip and heart certifications. He is a wonderful family companion dog with a very sweet nature and big heart. Doobie is extremely athletic and keeps his heavily muscled figure trim by hiking in the High Rockies, going on long runs with his owner and sprinting in deep snow. Since he is of the English variety, he has a wide blocky head and a shorter, thick body style.

Doobie is looking for a female purebred English Labrador of any color for an ongoing breeding relationship. She will be ideally located in Colorado; but Doobie is willing to travel for the right woman. Love knows no boundaries!
