Cider Riot Releasing F.X. Matthieu Hopped Cider 3/4

To honor the return of F.X. Matthieu hopped cider, we’ll have special guests Pat Leavy of the Oregon Hophouse who bred the X-17 hops on hand to talk about hop growing and breeding, and Sue Jaggers, a descendant of F.X. Matthieu the former Quebecois revolutionary who helped form the Republic of Oregon in 1843, with a special appearance of F.X. Matthieu.

Taste this cider with fruity tropical notes from the X-17 hops grown on Leavy’s hope farm in Butteville near the site of the founding of Oregon and the Butteville Store which FX Matthieu ran. Learn about this pioneering Oregonian and hop growing in the Willamette Valley.
