Chip the Beer Guy Rock 107 – DFH Midas Touch

I was out of town for this weeks show, and oddly enough 106.9 FM seems to be a completely different radio station on the west coast. Perhaps Rock 107 needs a bigger antenna….guys please add that to the budget with the new web cam. And speaking of web cam….we have a different angle on the boys and Chip is now silhouetted by the control room so we CAN actually see Chip. Perhaps my blurry-Chip rants have had some impact (See photo)?

This week’s beer is Dogfish Head Midas Touch. This beer is a honey meade-based beer based on ancient recipes and is a very tasty, albeit sweet wine brew. Given the upcoming release DFH Theobroma, it was particularly interesting to hear the guys down some Midas Touch.

As far as this week’s quote, I have to go for a non-beer quote. Webster’s quote of saying, “his pool wasn’t open because the water’s so cold the salmon were still spawning,” was classic.
