This Valentines Day Season, Center of the Universe Brings Two Unique Events for Those in Love, and Those Who Think “Cupid Is Stupid”

Ashland, VA –  January 29, 2019 Center of the Universe Brewing Company is sandwiching Valentines Day with two great events the weekend before, and directly following Valentines Day. Love it or hate it, they’ve got something for everyone! 

Chocolate Fest: For those who celebrate (or required to celebrate by a significant other) – February 9th 12-5pm

Don’t wait until the last minute to go shopping for your sweetheart on Valentine’s Day… Or better yet, why not celebrate early at the first ever COTU Chocolate Fest! This intimate setting will feature some of Richmond’s finest chocolatiers alongside handcrafted jewelry, artisan gifts, and flower arrangements. Publix Aprons Cooking School will be on site with demonstrations on cooking with chocolate and a light menu. 

In addition to celebrating love and chocolate, Center of the Universe will also be releasing The Box of Chocolates Stout, an annual favorite, along with 5 delicious variants for some serious pre-Valentine’s Day fun.

Anti-Valentines Day Party: For those who think Cupid is Stupid – February 16th 5-9pm
There aren’t going to be any crazy red hearts, flowers, or those candies with creepy pre-written messages on February 16th. What there will be is lots of beer, live music, delicious food, and a bunch of like-minded people who want to enjoy a Saturday without getting bombarded by Cupid’s stupid arrows. Come alone or bring your awesome loved ones and drink some beer surrounded by our festive, Anti-Valentines Day décor.  

Something Shiny Band will rock the house from 5-8pm and Freekin’ Rican will be on site with their mouthwatering authentic Puerto Rican cuisine! Learn more here.
