Catawba Valley Brewing Opening in Asheville, Not Considering Craggie Brewing Location

We brought you news yesterday that Craggie Brewing would be closing it’s doors in Asheville, NC. Lost in that same story was news from the Citizen-Times that Catawba Valley Brewing would soon be opening it’s doors in Asheville, NC, but not at the former home of Craggie Brewing.
And Catawba Valley Brewing, based in Morganton, also plans an expansion into Asheville with a new seven-barrel system, owner Scott Pyatt said.
But Pyatt said he is not considering the Craggie space.
