Boulevard – Smokestack Series Coffee Ale & Test Hibiscus Gose

Today we get to see the next release in the Boulevard Brewing Smokestack Series of Beers.  Coffee Ale is a collaboration with The Roasterie Air-roasted coffee and it uses Ethiopian Sidamo Coffee from Africa’s Great Rift Valley.. Coffee Ale uses Perle & Styrian Golding hops so it should be a great balance.  Look for Coffee Ale to be packaged in 750ml bottles and come in at 9.3% ABV.

Update 7 Mar 2013.  The label below was approved.  Looks like they changed it from “coffee added” to “brewed with coffee".”

As a bonus we’re giving you a peek at a future beer possibility from Boulevard simply called Test Hibiscus Gose–male beverage brewed with coriander, sea salt & hibiscus flowers (4.5% ABV).
