BITBURG, GERMANY (November 18, 2025) – Bitburger, the family-owned German brewery founded more than 200 years ago, is proud to stand out as a top choice for imbibers looking for a delicious premium and easy drinking beer without alcohol. Whether forgoing alcohol, sober curious or zebra striping imbibing, Bitburger 0.0 is the perfect beverage to have behind the bar, in the fridge, on the menu, and in one’s hand this season.

While the beer category is down overall as Gen Z drinkers reach for low- and no-alc options, Bitburger continues to expand its U.S. presence with signature Bitburger Premium Pils (ringing in at just 4.8%) and de-alcoholized Bitburger 0.0 — perfect for thoughtfully imbibing from Dry January through the summer, and beyond.

Despite drinking less overall, Gen Z consumers are more selective than ever, seeking authenticity, craftsmanship, and identity in the brands they choose. Bitburger delivers on all fronts. The de-alcoholized Bitburger 0.0 is brewed with the exact same care, precision, and passion that has defined the Bitburger craft for generations, ensuring the same quality and drinking experience in an entirely alcohol-free product.

“We’re thrilled to see more and more people across the country enjoying Bitburger Premium Pils, and know there are several factors contributing to our success,” says Scott Baver, Bitburger USA. “Namely, a movement in the industry to cleaner more traditional beers such as a premium German Pilsner and 0.0, as the no-alc space is one of the fastest growing segments in the beverage industry.”

While mindful consumption continues to prevail, Bitburger meets consumers’ interest in the low-ABV and non-alcoholic space. Bitburger 0.0 retains the unmatched taste and tradition from the same on-site German brewery where all Bitburger liquid hails.

Brewed in strict accordance with the German Beer Purity Law — or Reinheitsgebot — quoted as the “world’s oldest food safety law still in existence” by Wine Enthusiast, Bitburger Pils (4.8% ABV) is a light straw-colored pilsner with a lasting foam head. The beer has earthy notes with a nutty and honeyed aftertaste, finishing dry with a pleasant bitterness, showcasing the beer’s proprietary hop blend, Siegelhopfen, grown 30 miles from the brewery. Currently available in six-pack bottles (11.2oz), four-pack cans (16.9oz), and 12-pack bottles (11.2oz), the roll-out of Bitburger Pilsner in 12-pack cans this April will replace the 12-pack bottle packaging in the United States as part of a greater sustainability strategy for the brewery.

Bitburger launched a 12-pack in 2025 in markets across the United States to compliment six packs and cases. Bitburger is widely available on menus in top restaurants and bars in many cities and will have a greater presence going into 2026 for both Bitburger Premium Pils as well Bitburger 0.0. Availability is updated daily on findbitburger.com.

ABOUT BITBURGER BREWERY

Bitburger is one of the most important privately owned breweries in Germany. The company’s success over the past 207 years has been the result of its uncompromising commitment to highest quality, courage for technical innovations, and dedicated employees. Furthermore, as a family-owned company in the seventh generation, Bitburger has always been very active in its home region. It goes without saying that a careful use of natural resources as well as the protection of the environment and climate have always been taken for granted. “Bitte ein Bit!”
