Label Text New Belgium Lauren’s Last Word:
“The Last Word isn’t just Lauren’s favoritye cocktail because of it’s bold flavor; it’s about how something that should be overwhelming instead comes together in perfect harmony. It embodies the idea of the impossible blend: complex and distinct, yet balanced and unified. A cocktail like no other. So, for Lauren’s last Word, four distinct beers inspired by the four parts of a Last Word cocktail were crafted then blended. Thirty-three ingedients in all. A Last Word designed to make an impact and leave a legacy.
After 29 remarkable years, Lauren Woods Limbach is retiring from New Belgium. Lauren has been instrumental in shaping the success, legacy, and brand equity of New Belgium. From launching our sensory science program and leading the Lips of Faith specialty brands, to lovingly nurturing the wood cellar and sharing our sour program with the world, her influence has been profound. She has not only elevated New Belgium but has also left a lasting mark on the entire craft beer community through her passion, education, and innovation.”
About New Belgium Brewing:
New Belgium Brewing was founded in 1991 in Fort Collins, CO, by Kim Jordan, a social worker, who built her company the only way a social worker would: People first. Over the past three decades, New Belgium has turned that ethos into a unique Human Powered Business model through practices that foster a culture defined by individual empowerment and collaborative action that drives better business results in the long term. New Belgium expanded to Asheville, NC, in 2016 and Daleville, VA, in 2023, and in 2021 acquired Bell’s Brewery, based in Kalamazoo, MI. The business’ people-centric model has led New Belgium to become the most popular and fastest-growing American craft brewer today. New Belgium is famous for Fat Tire Ale and Voodoo Ranger IPA (America’s #1 IPA brand), along with year-round favorites like Dominga Mimosa Sour, La Folie Sour Brown Ale, an award-winning wood-aged sour program.
