DC Brau Brewing Company is Washington, D.C.’s first production brewery since the 1950s, founded by Brandon Skall and Jeff Hancock. They began planning in 2009 and tapped their first keg of The Public Pale Ale on Tax Day, April 15, 2011—reviving DC’s brewing legacy after a 66‑year hiatus
