Today I bring you some exciting release news from Block 15 Brewing in Corvallis, Oregon:

Sticky Hands: Hang Ten
Hop Experience Ale | 8.10%

Sticky Hands: Hang Ten, a limited-edition variant of our Hop Experience Ale, will be available on draft only at Block 15 locations starting this Friday. Ride this wave back to 2015! This 8.10% tubular throwback revives our legendary recipe from a decade ago—the very first batch brewed on our 20BBL production system. Smooth and balanced, it delivers bold notes of pine resin and ripe pineapple. Try it side-by-side with today’s Sticky Hands to see the difference!

For over three years, Sticky Hands was developed on our 7BBL downtown pub brewhouse and released monthly on draft and in 750ml bottles in limited quantities. (Who remembers waiting in line for this?) This week’s special release brings back the recipe that marked a turning point—the shift to our 20BBL system and weekly Sticky Hands releases. This extended the reach of our Imperial IPA, and was a pivotal moment for our love letter to hops.

Space Candy
Hazy IPA | 7.30%

Space Candy lands today at Block 15 locations. This 7.30% Hazy IPA pushes the balance between dank and juicy, delivering notes of ripe mango and apricot in a distinctly Block 15-style package.

Originally released in 2023, Space Candy is brewed with a galaxy of unique hop products. Comet, Galaxy, and Apollo hops orbit a silky, lush body, bringing tropical, dank, and piney character that’ll blast your palate into outer space.

Block 15 was conceived by local beer lovers Nick and Kristen Arzner. After years of traveling, brewing, cooking, and dreaming, they were inspired to share these passions with their local community. Block 15 Restaurant & Brewery was created to offer Corvallis unique, from-the-source artisan beer alongside handmade pub food produced from local ingredients—all served in a friendly, casual atmosphere.

Since opening in 2008, Block 15 has grown to include a production brewery & Taproom in South Corvallis, a Downtown Pub (where it all started), a Northwest meets European-inspired restaurant, Caves Corvallis, and a Distribution Team for the PNW. Our family has grown to over one hundred hard-working individuals that positively reflect our community. Over the years, we have stayed true to our initial vision while evolving in the endless pursuit of the perfect pint, plate of food, and space to share it in.

Block 15 Brewing is a craft brewery and beverage company based in Corvallis, Oregon, founded by local beer enthusiasts Nick and Kristen Arzner in 2008.
Here’s a closer look at what they offer:

Locations
Downtown Brewpub: This is the original location where Block 15 started, located at 300 SW Jefferson Ave., Corvallis, OR. They are known for their laid-back atmosphere, crafting beers (including lagers and IPAs) and serving sandwiches and pasta. They are also known for a great beer selection, good cocktails, and good food.

South Corvallis Production Brewery, Winery and Tap Room: Located at 3415 SW Deschutes St., Corvallis, OR, this location offers locally sourced handmade food and fresh craft beer. They have a huge selection of beers on tap and in bottles, and everything is made with care.

Caves Restaurant: Situated at 308 SW 3rd St., Corvallis, OR, this Northwest meets European-inspired restaurant features a cellar with rare barrels of Pappy Van Winkle, a wild beer program, and vintage bottles. The beer list includes 16 draft lines, 4 rotating seasonals, and a curated selection of other beers.

Offerings
Artisan Beer: They produce a wide range of artfully crafted beers, including unique hop-forward ales, crisp lagers, barrel-aged rarities, and an extensive wild and sour program.

Handmade Pub Food: Their restaurants serve handmade pub food produced from local ingredients. Reviews mention excellent burgers, nachos, and fries.

Craft Distribution: They distribute their beers and other unique artisan goods throughout the Pacific Northwest through their independent distribution company, Block 15 Distribution. They work with a network of over 400 retail accounts across Oregon and SW Washington.

Key aspects
Brewer-Owned: Block 15 has been brewer-owned from day one, founded in 2008 by Nick and Kristen Arzner who were inspired by their travels, brewing, cooking, and dreams to share their passions with the local community.

Focus on Fresh Ingredients: They emphasize brewing with fresh ingredients and a fresh approach.

Community Focused: They have a family of over 100 hard-working individuals who reflect their community positively.

Evolving and Innovative: They are always evolving in the pursuit of the perfect pint, plate of food, and space to share it in. They have also launched a farm-focused seasonal single hop lineup called Selection Series.
In short, Block 15 Brewing is a well-regarded craft brewery and beverage company with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and community, offering a diverse range of beers and food across multiple locations in Corvallis, Oregon, and through their distribution network.
