Barrel One Collective B1C : Six Month Update

I brought you the news of Mass Bay Brewing (aka Harpoon Brewery) and Finest Kind (aka Smuttynose Brewing) were merging to form Barrel One Collective (B1C), and now we have a 6-month update from Barrel One Collective.

It’s been 6 months since Mass. Bay Brewing Company and Finestkind Brewing came together to form the largest craft producer in New England – Barrel One Collective (B1C).

Barrel One’s portfolio includes a wide variety of products from beloved brands like Harpoon, Long Trail, Dunkin’ Spiked, UFO, Shed, Clown Shoes, Otter Creek, Catamount, Italian Ice, Crystal Light Vodka Refreshers, Smuttynose, Five Boroughs, Right Coast Spirits, Island District Cocktails, and Wachusett.

Day Drifter IPA – Harpoon’s newest year-round beer leads with tropical hop notes smoothed out by low carbonation nitro-dosing. 

Crystal Light Vodka Refreshers – Kraft Heinz partnered with B1C to launch its first alcohol product. The lowest-calorie vodka refresher on the market, it’s available in two classic Crystal Light flavors: Wild Strawberry and Lemonade.

Riverside Lager – Long Trail adds a crisp, refreshing lager featuring hops exclusively grown in Vermont at Champlain Valley Hops.

Harpoon Beer Garden at Boston Common – Open Tues-Sun through late October, this pop-up serves up draft beer, wine, hard seltzer/cider, margaritas, and elevated Mexican street food from El Jefe, plus daily entertainment on Emerson’s UnCommon stage.

The Pickeball Social Club at Harpoon Brewery – Players of all skill levels can register for a league or join an open play session throughout the summer, or just watch a match and grab a beer!

Celebrating 25 Years in Windsor, VT – What began in 2000 as a revival of the former Catamount Brewery has grown into a vibrant, community-centered hub. June marks 25 years since Harpoon opened its doors in the Green Mountain State, offering craft beer lovers a scenic pint in the Beer Garden, the beloved Windsor Octoberfest, and a quarter-century of passion and innovation poured into every glass.

Charlestown Brewing Co. Outdoor Pop-Up – B1C brands helped launch a fun summer pop-up in The Charlestown Yard at Hood Park on June 13. It will remain open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through August 17.

BetterBev Recognition – Harpoon Brewery in Boston was named a “Green Beverage Producer” by BetterBev, an initiative that recognizes beverage producers making strides to reduce environmental impact and increase sustainability and conservation efforts.

Harpoon To Open Its First Brewery in New Hampshire – Harpoon at Queen City Center, opening June 20, boasts an experimental brewery, restaurant, and taproom with indoor, outdoor, and event space. Located in the heart of downtown Manchester, this will be the brand’s fifth location in New England.
