Our Baltic-style Porter ‘Herd of Turtles’ medals again – this time a silver – at the largest and most prestigious American beer competition: the Great American Beer Festival (GABF). Over 9000 beers were judged in almost 100 categories earlier this month, and the big awards show took place last Saturday. To win a medal and be recognized on this scale is a massive accomplishment and one we are very proud of.
“Turtles” (so named for its lackadaisical fermentation and cellaring pace) first medaled with a bronze back in 2017.
