Austin Eastciders Partners with Mexico City Artist Vals to Launch Chili Lime Watermelon Cider

Limited-release cider inspired by classic Mexican treat hits shelves late June

AUSTIN, TX  June 7, 2022 – Just in time for summer, creative and innovative Texas cider brand Austin Eastciders today announced its latest Imperial Cider flavor, inspired by the authentic Mexican blend and one of summer’s favorite fruits: Chili Lime Watermelon!  In addition to the refreshing and tangy citrus taste within, Austin Eastciders’ new offering features a higher 8.3% ABV and an eye-catching design created by renowned Mexico City artist Vals, who brings her illustration style to the limited-edition cans.

Tasting notes of this innovative flavor include:

• Appearance: Pink, cloudy and unfiltered, featuring fresh pieces of Pacific Northwest watermelon and Californian chilis, and Mexican lime juice
• Aroma: Chili, fresh cut watermelon, notes of citrus
• Taste: Sweet watermelon, a kick of chilis, undertones of lime with a tart finish
