Athletic Brewing Pledges $100,000 to Benefit Restaurant Industry Employees Impacted By COVID-19

Athletic Brewing Company has seen such huge community enthusiasm for their COVID-19 relief efforts that they are extending and increasing their initial target. What started out as a 10% donation on all online sales for a 10-weeks-campaign will now keep going until they reach $100,000.

The money will be destined to The Restaurant Employee Relief Fund, that uses 100% of the donations collected to provide grants. Restaurant industry employees experiencing unemployment and other financial hardships in the wake of COVID-19 will directly benefit from these resources.

Besides the economic devastation they now find the establishments that they built at risk of not surviving. The Restaurant Employee Relief Fund was created to help restaurant industry employees experiencing extraordinary hardship in the wake of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak. Through this Fund, grants will be made to restaurant industry employees who have been impacted by COVID-19, including a decrease in wages or loss of employment. Grants will be awarded as soon as possible to those individuals who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, as reviewed and verified by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF).
