Almanac Working On Bay Of Plenty, Blueberry Dogpatch Sour, Benevolent Bines & Dead Souls Collaboration
Today I have some new cans coming from Almanac Beer in Alameda, CA. Bay Of Plenty will be a hazy IPA that is dry-hopped with Moutere hops. The beer supports three non-profits (Alameda Backyard Growers, Alameda Food Bank & Alameda Point Collaborative) and it will slice in at 6.1%-AbV. Dead Souls will be a collaboration with Moscow’s Zagovor Brewery (Пивоварня Заговор) that is a Bourbon barrel-aged Russian imperial stout aged with Ancho chili, cacao nibs, cinnamon and vanilla. This beer will roll in at 12%-AbV and both beers will be packaged in 16oz cans. Stay tuned for release info. I’ve also added in Blueberry Dogpatch Sour Flanders red-style ale aged in oak barrels with fresh blueberries from Sierra Cascade Farm (16oz cans, 5.8%-AbV) & Benevolent Bines pale lager with locally-grown Centennial and Cascade hops (4.5%-AbV, 16oz cans).
