Chuckanut P. Nut Celebrates PDX Beer Week with Book Swap

Celebrating beer is always a good thing and P. Nut in Portland is celebrating Beer Week in PDX with a Book Swap. Plus there will be a Plant Swap and to top it off there will be the Summer Pale Ale Tapping. How could it get better than that as a way to celebrate beer in Portland, OR. To keep you swapping Pacific Ice smoked fish vendor will be on hand for those that are hungry with freshly smoked salmon, halibut, red snapper and more. It all happens June 24 at P. Nut at 920 SE Caruthers St in Portland 12-5 pm both days.

Calling all Portland book lovers! Chuckanut’s P. Nut Beer Hall will have a healthy stock of used books available courtesy of our generous friends at Backstory Books. Just bring one or two of your old used books and swap them out for some new literary content! And if you have some plants you no longer want or aren’t in very good shape, bring them in for the Green Goddess Botanic plant swap pop up and get something new and fresh. Both swaps will take place at the same time as the tapping of Keller Summer Pale Ale 2023. This tapping of Summer Pale Ale is straight from the fermentation tanks and unfiltered. Once the unfiltered keg is gone P. Nut will tap the filtered rendition. Summer Pale Ale is brewed every year with different hops. The hops featured this year are Luminosa and Strata from Indie Hops. Clean, hoppy and crushable this Pale Ale is sure to be a perfect patio sipper. It’s only available in the summer, so get it while you can!
