This year, Jolly Rodger is an Imperial Barrel Aged Stout and Barleywine blend, aged on Kenyan coffee beans and in a combination of whiskey and rum barrels. Despite its 16.3% ABV, this sea monster drinks relatively reserved, with smoky roasted malts and coffee fruit aromatics up front fading to coffee and honey and a hint of heat on the tongue
