Following record-breaking demand for Busch Light Apple, Busch Light Lime returns to make this summer the most refreshing yet

St. Louis, Missouri – June 10, 2026 – This summer just got a whole lot more refreshing as Busch Light keeps its wildly successful flavor momentum rolling. Today, Busch Light, the #2 fastest-growing beer brand in America1, announced the highly anticipated return of Busch Light Lime, officially rolling out this summer for a limited time.

As the #6 largest beer brand in the industry, selling nearly 6 million more cases than its closest competitor2, Busch Light is no stranger to giving fans exactly what they want. Following the excitement surrounding its recent Flavor Showdown announcement, where fans can vote to help decide a future Busch Light flavor, and the unprecedented response to the return of Busch Light Apple – which sold 2.3 million cases in just 6 weeks (an 108% increase in volume versus last year)3, Busch Light is proving once again that it is the ultimate summer beer brand by bringing back its highly requested Lime flavor.

Krystyn Stowe, Head of Marketing, Busch Family & Natural Family at Anheuser-Busch said: “After the strong response to Busch Light Lime last summer, we knew fans wanted more, which is why we’re bringing it back for another season. From the return of Busch Light Lime to helping shape what flavors come next through our first-ever Flavor Showdown, listening to our fans is always at the heart of everything we do.”

Busch Light Lime, a crisp, refreshing lime-flavored lager with a touch of sweet on the front end and a clean beer finish on the back, will be rolling out in 12-, 24-, and 30-packs of 12oz cans across 27 states. Featuring a distinct tart and zesty profile that’s ideal for hot weather, it is the ultimate companion for fans embarking on their favorite outdoor summer adventures. Last year, in the 25 states where it was available, Busch Light Lime sold 288,000 cases in its first month, 5.3x more than the closest competitive beer innovation4.

2026 Performance Highlights: Busch Light’s momentum is being recognized across the beer industry with industry analysts at Beer Marketer’s Insights reporting that Busch Light Apple ranked as the #10 beer brand by volume in national Circana multi-outlet + convenience channels for the last four weeks through May 17. The brand’s continued growth – including Busch Light Apple sales more than doubling year-over-year for the period – underscores what industry analysts described as “another wildly successful rollout” that helped bolster Anheuser-Busch’s overall share of beer. In addition to the stats above, Busch Light has recorded more powerful performance milestones including:

• Busch Light is the #1 largest beer brand in 10 states5—all of which will carry Busch Light Lime: Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, South Dakota, and North Dakota.

• 1 in 4 Busch Light Apple shoppers are first-time beer shoppers, with 77% of Busch Light Apple sales incremental to the beer category since launch6.

• In the last four weeks, 13.1% of Busch Light Apple shoppers were 21–27-year-old legal drinking age adults, which is more than double the average of 21–27-year-old legal drinking age beer shoppers7.

To celebrate the return of Lime, Busch Light is showing off the zesty flavor at the track. Fans can look out for a custom Busch Light Lime paint scheme on Ross Chastain’s No. 1 car hitting the track on June 14 at Pocono Raceway, bringing the summer drop to one of the brand’s biggest cultural touchpoints as a marquee activation. But remember, it’s only here for a squeeze of time while supplies last. Make sure you grab Busch Light Lime while it’s ripe and ready this summer!
