Here we have an exciting new anniversary beer release coming from Great Lakes Brewing  in Cleveland, Ohio. This special-edition brew is called Independence, and it’s an American Double IPA crafted to celebrate 250 years of American independence and freedom. Great Lakes is leaning into the moment with a bold, bright, and hop-forward DIPA that will land at 8% ABV, delivering the citrus, pine, and resinous character fans expect from a modern double IPA.

The brewery is packaging Independence in a patriotic red, white, and blue 12‑oz cans, designed to highlight the historic milestone and the brewery’s long-standing connection to American craft beer culture.
