Today, I have a new “hearted” IPA variant coming soon from Bell’s Brewery in Comstock, Michigan. This is SMaSH Hearted IPA, and it will be a single malt, single hop IPA that will hit 7%-AbV. Stay tuned for malt and hop details and look for this beer to be packaged in these 12-oz cans as part of a variety pack that so far will include this beer, Change of Heart New Zealand-style IPA (6.6%-AbV), Hazy Hearted, Big Hearted IPA (9.5%-AbV), Light Hearted (4%-AbV), and Cold Hearted IPA (7%-AbV below).2025 Bell's Brewery Light Hearted 12-oz Cans2025 Bell's Brewery Bug Hearted IPA 12-oz Cans2025 Bell's Brewery Big Hearted IPA 19.2-oz Cans2025 Bell's Brewery Hazy Hearted IPA 12-oz Cans2025 Bell's brewery Hazy Hearted IPA 19.2-oz Cans2025 Bell's Brewery Change Of Heart IPA 12-oz Cans2025 Bell's Brewery Cold Hearted IPA 12-oz Cans

About Bell’s Brewery:

Bell’s Brewery began in 1985 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with Larry Bell, a quest for better beer and a 15- gallon soup kettle. Since then, Bell’s has grown into one of the largest craft breweries in America, thanks to its iconic brands such as Two Hearted IPA, Oberon Ale and Hopslam Ale. Bell’s believes that business – and beer – can be powerful tools to renew our trust not only in each other, but the world around us. Bell’s ‘Inspired Brewing’ philosophy represents our collective responsibility to create meaningful change by resourcing responsibly as stewards of our environment, byre-igniting and celebrating our distinct senses of creativity, and by re-energizing the common belief we can come together to make good on the promise of a more prosperous future for all.

Bell’s Brewery is a craft brewery in Michigan that started as a homebrewing store in 1983. It’s the oldest craft brewery in Michigan and the oldest east of Colorado. Bell’s Brewery is known for its flagship beers, including:

Hopslam Ale, a double IPA
Oberon Ale, an American wheat ale
Two Hearted Ale, an American IPA
Brewery locations:
Kalamazoo
The original location, where the first batch of beer was brewed in 1985. The Kalamazoo location has a brewpub and store.
Comstock
The main brewery, located seven miles east of Kalamazoo.
Philosophy: Reducing environmental impact, Supporting small business owners, Amplifying underrepresented voices, and Celebrating differences.
Sustainability:
Pretreating wastewater before returning it to the city
Converting wastewater into renewable electricity and heat
Supporting clean water nonprofits
