An Original Returns to Our Taps
In advance of our 13th anniversary party in Ballard, we’re bringing back one of the first five beers we ever brewed: American Rye. Look for this malt-forward but easy-drinking rye beer on tap and in cans at both taprooms this Friday, August 1st.

American Rye isn’t the only new beer landing on Friday. We’ve also got a fun new hazy IPA that we brewed in collaboration with Ben’s Bread, a family-run bakery here in Seattle. Find it in Ballard, downtown Seattle, and next week at Grainmaker!

Adam and Grace Robbings opened Reuben’s Brews in 2012, after an award-winning homebrewing career, naming the brewery after their first child, Reuben. At their employee-owned family brewery they brew from the glass backwards: designing each beer with intention, unbound by constraints. They know that making that extra effort is worth it. Reuben’s Brews is a Seattle-based brewery known for its diverse and innovative beers, family-friendly atmosphere, and taprooms. The brewery was founded by Adam and Grace Robbings in 2012 and named after their son, Reuben. They brew a wide variety of styles, including IPAs, lagers, and saisons, and are known for their balanced and drinkable beers. Reuben’s Brews has several locations, including the Ballard Taproom, a production brewery, and a new Downtown Seattle taproom. The Fremont taproom recently closed in May 2025.
