Stuck on Rye 26: Collaboration brew put together by RJR and Holy City. RJR’s first rye beer. I-26 is the highway connecting the two breweries, hence the name. It is a high gravity version of a hoppy red rye ale. Around 8.5% ABV and 50 IBU’s. Hop profile mimics an IPA but is very well balanced by a strong maltiness that also contributes to a very nice mouthfeel. The rye provides a rich malt flavor that puts a unique twist on a typical red ale.
