Here’s a great example of a beer that’s fantastic on it’s own, and barrel-aging making it even better. This is Coronado Brewing Barrel Aged Stupid Stout and it is the third release in the Coronado Collection. BA Stupid Stout is aged in oak Bourbon barrels, it will be package din 12.7oz bottles and come in at 9.8% ABV.
