The man walked into the Ballast Point brewery on Carroll Way in Miramar through a back door around 11:30 p.m. Monday, police said. He pulled out a gun and demanded money both from the business and the employees who were closing up, according to police. The brewery’s taste room closes at 11 p.m.
The gunman took off with the cash before police arrived. He’s described as Hispanic and in his 30s. He was wearing a black ski mask, a black hooded sweatshirt and was carrying a black backpack.
