Ranger Creek Releasing Texas Bourbon Barrel Russian Imperial Stout

Our new specialty beer is hitting shelves this week, just in time for Christmas!  This beer is the second release in our Texas Bourbon Barrel series, and it’s a delicious, boozy Russian Imperial Stout.   Read more in this newsletter for where you can find bottles, and plan on bringing your family to our tasting room on Saturday to give it a try!

This huge Russian Imperial Stout clocks in at 13.3% ABV and was aged in a combination of first-fill Wild Turkey bourbon and Ranger Creek .36 bourbon barrels.  The nose features toffee, raisin, and sweet, boozy bourbon notes.  Roasted malt, oak, and vanilla dominate the taste with more nuanced flavors of caramel and cherry developing as it warms. It finishes with a warming, coffee bitterness.  Share this with a friend and allow to warm up to 55 degrees to enjoy this beer at its finest.
