Untappd Marks 500-Million Check-Ins w/Top Venues & Top Beers

Exciting news from Untappd:

Since Untappd’s founding in 2010, we’ve watched in amazement as this incredible community has blossomed to over 5 million users. At its core, what makes Untappd great is you – the user – and the community you’ve helped create.

The Untappd community has allowed us to reach some fun milestones through the years. In 2011, we celebrated our 1 millionth beer check-in! Today, some six years later, we’re excited to announce that we’ve surpassed 500 million check-ins on Untappd. Think about that. Over 500,000,000 beers drank by Untappd users around the world.

This monumental feat could not have been accomplished without our wonderful community enjoying many amazing beers. We want to thank each and every Untappd user for your continued support. We also want to thank the ten thousand-plus Verified Venues that have published their menus on Untappd, allowing the community to more easily explore all the great beer around the world.

To celebrate this beer-fueled occasion, we’ve created a special commemorative badge for all to unlock. Check-in to any beer between now – October 31st and the “500 Million Beers” badge is yours!

In addition to a new limited edition badge, the first 500 people to use coupon code “500MILLION” during checkout can get 20% off all merchandise in our store. This discount will only be valid until October 8th, so be sure to head over to http://store.untappd.com today.
