Center of the Universe to Host The First Ever 0.0k Non-Run

CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE BREWING COMPANY AND RICHMOND RACEWAY TEAM UP TO OFFER THE FIRST EVER 0.0K NON-RUN FOR A GREAT CAUSE TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE PINK INK FUND.

Ashland, VA June 15, 2018: Center of the Universe Brewing Company and Richmond Raceway are pleased to announce the inaugural 0.0k Non-Run for a Great Cause and its beneficiary, the Pink Ink Fund.  On July 7th at 1pm, as a part of the larger Fried Food Festival taking place that day, participants of the 0.0k run will gather at Center of the Universe to stand, sit, or kneel, in the most comfortable way possible, as the brewery staff carries the finish line over their heads.  As a reward for the participants’ hard work, each will be given a custom fanny pack, bottle opener finishing medal, 0.0k shirt, and an ice cold beer. For every $25 entry fee, $10 will be donated to the Pink Ink Fund through Richmond Raceway Cares, the community arm of Richmond Raceway.

ABOUT THE PINK INK FUND

The Pink Ink Fund is an organization that seeks to aid people needing assistance with their post mastectomy tattoo needs as part of their breast reconstruction due to breast cancer and/or BRCA diagnosis. Center of the Universe Brewing Company is celebrating America on July 4th weekend with the first ever Fried Food Festival! There will be live music, a Mr. America Contest, 0.0K Race, fried food galore provided by 7 incredible food vendors, and a special beer release.
